After taking a few months off, Gunshow chef/owner Kevin Gillespie is bringing some more guest chefs into his kitchen. Gunshow's "Hired Guns" series makes its return when Jason Alley, of Richmond, Va., restaurants Comfort and Pasture, joins Gillespie's team on March 24 and 25.
The last Hired Guns series focused on Southern chefs, featuring the likes of John Currence (Oxford, Miss.), Jeremiah Bacon (Charleston), Tandy Wilson (Nashville), and Tom Gray (Jacksonville, Fla.). It appears Gillespie is broadening his horizons this time around. In addition to Alley, Greg Denton and Gabrielle Quiñónez Denton, from Ox in Portland, Ore., and Jean-Paul Bourgeois, from New York's Blue Smoke, are confirmed to make appearances.
