ACFB Dine Out; Brasstown Dinner; St. Paddy's Meal

CHARITY WIRE — In support of the Atlanta Community Food Bank, One Sushi + and Katana Teppanyaki & Sushi will host dine-out events on Monday, March 23. A portion of sales from both restaurants that evening will be donated directly to the ACFB in support of its fight against hunger. [EaterWire]

PIEDMONT HEIGHTS — Woodfire Grill is celebrating Earth Day with a Brasstown Beef dinner on Wednesday, April 22. Brasstown's Steve and Whit Whitmire will host the dinner while discussing their third-generation farm and answering questions throughout the evening, and chef Matt Weinstein will serve a five-course menu. CITYWIDE — In honor of St. Patrick's Day this Tuesday, each Farm Burger location will serve up a limited holiday dish from chef Stella Dillard: Colcannon and Crubeens. Colcannon is mashed potatoes and cabbage, and crubeens are cooked, boned trotters that are breaded and fried. The dish will cost $8, and each location will have roughly 20 available. [EaterWire]
