Atlanta is getting a new cupcake outlet this weekend.

BUCKHEAD — Washington D.C.-based bakery chain Georgetown Cupcake is opening its newest location at 267 East Paces Ferry Road NE in the Buckhead Atlanta development this Saturday. It's the company's sixth outpost nationwide. In addition to the cupcakes, look for coffee, tea, and espresso beverages. To celebrate its opening, Georgetown Cupcake will offer one free cupcake per person from noon to 9 p.m. [EaterWire]

CITYWIDE — This week only, local take-and-bake concept Christophe's To Go is offering customers free macaroni and cheese. Patrons can enter their email address at Christophe's website, and they will receive a coupon for one of four varieties of Christophe's mac and cheese. CABBAGETOWN — Cabbage Pie has opened in the former Village Pizza House location at 186 Carroll Street SE, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The new restaurant reportedly comes from the team behind Bantam Pub, and in addition to pizza offers a full bar and Italian appetizers, salads, soups, sandwiches, and entrees. [AJC]
