The Garden at Community Smith, the rooftop patio that compliments chef Micah Willix's "modern meatery" opens to the public this Friday. Formerly known as Rooftop 86, The Garden is inspired by German biergatens, according to a release, and will offer cocktails, craft beer on tap, and a "casual bar menu" from Willix. Daily hours, weather permitting are 5 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Willix opened Community Smith in the former Briza space on January 28. Focusing on animal protein, the menu features dishes such as wild mushrooms with bone marrow and oxtail toast, a porchetta sandwich, and roasted lamb shoulder with preserved lemon, toasted coriander, and bulgur.
