Sam Abdullah and the team behind Buckhead Pizza Company are adding another restaurant to the Atlanta market. Pizza Crosta, a do-it-yourself concept, will open in Sandy Springs's The Prado later this month. The restaurant will offer counter service, allowing diners to place their orders and add toppings to personalize their pizzas. Each pie is finished off in an open fire oven.
The 10-inch pizzas will start between $8 and $10, according to a release. For those who won't accept plain old crust at the end of their slices, Pizza Crosta will provide what's billed as a crust-dipping station. Look for spices, oils, and sauces to compliment the pizza bones. The restaurant will open in mid- to late April at 5590 Roswell Road, Suite A-140, Sandy Springs.
