Paige Lane is on board as bar manager at Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall, the outdoorsy eatery located right off the BeltLine at mile marker 9.25. Lane's previous experience includes stints at Holeman & Finch Public House, Empire State South, and King + Duke, and she is working on new cocktails for spring and summer, plus bottled cocktails and beer cocktails in growlers.
In other Ladybird news, the restaurant is opening for lunch and adding a new late-night menu. Ladybird is now open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m to late night, with lunch served from Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and brunch during the same hours on Saturday and Sunday. The kitchen closes daily from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., when dinner service begins.
Owner Michael Lennox says Ladybird's new late-night menu will launch on Wednesday, April 29, and will be available from 10 p.m. to close. It will feature "several creative dishes that rotate regularly," and for the 1990s Saturday night Nickelodeon fans out there, Are You Afraid Of The Dark?-inspired beer-and-shot pairings at the bar.
