UPDATE: Victory co-owner Ian Jones tells Eater the restaurant will not have a soft opening Thursday or Friday, but he hopes to be fully up and running on Saturday. Jones said "everything is very fluid right now," and he plans to post any opening developments on Victory's Facebook and Instagram pages.
At long last, Victory Sandwich Bar is back in business in Inman Park. After tangling with the city over permits and multiple delays, the restaurant soft opened last weekend at 913 Bernina Avenue NE, an employee at the Decatur location confirmed, and will do so again this weekend. If everything goes according to plan, Victory Inman Park will be fully operational next week.
The new Victory will feature a menu similar to the Decatur location, and bartender Shanna Mayo, formerly of Leon's Full Service, will move over to help lead the beverage staff. The Inman Park restaurant features an expansive patio just off the BeltLine and Freedom Park Trail.
Victory originally opened in Inman Park, but was forced to relocate to make way for the Inman Quarter mixed-use development. The new outpost, a couple of blocks away from Inman Quarter, replaces the shuttered Park's Edge.
