ATLANTIC STATION — On Thursday, April 16 at 7pm, The Pig & The Pearl will host a "3rd Thursday Beer Dinner" with Second Self Beer Company. Beginning at 7 p.m., the event will feature a four-course menu with beer pairings, including Second Self's new release Citrus IPA, which is brewed with citrus hops and lemon and orange peel. AWARDS SEASON — Old 4th Distillery recently won a silver medal for their vodka in the 2015 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Judging was based on a blind, consensual procedure. Old Fourth was one of 71 distilleries nationwide to take home a silver medal for vodka. [EaterWire]

CHAMBLEE — On Tuesday, April 14, Fabrice Dubsoc, winemaker for the Alain Brumont properties in southwest France, will visit Southbound to lead guests through a six-course wine dinner. Beginning at 7 p.m., executive chef Ryan Smith will serve a spring menu in the restaurant's window-lined upstairs room. The event is co-hosted by Le Caveau Fine Wines.
