BUCKHEAD —Vine & Tap is launching an Italian-American prix fixe menu. For $29, each prix fixe meal includes an appetizer, entree, and dessert, plus a glass of wine selected by sommelier Ian Mendelsohn. The menu will rotate each week. Initial options include calamari, bruschetta salad, mussels marinara, spaghetti and meatballs are entree, olive oil cake, and budini-chocolate pudding. [EaterWire]

WESTSIDE — This Thursday, the Oyster Bar at The Optimist will host Javier Mareque of Pazo Senorans Wines for a complimentary tasting. Mareque and beverage manager Eduardo Guzman arewill Pazo Senorans Albariño and single-vineyard back vintage Albariños with chef-selected oysters. The tasting runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. [EaterWire]

EMORY VILLAGE — Wednesday night, starting at 7 pm, Bad Dog Taqueria will throw a party to celebrate the restaurant's fourth anniversary and to watch Travel Channel's Man Finds Food, which will feature a few Atlanta restaurants. The episode, hosted by TV personality Adam Richman, begins at 9 p.m., and Bad Dog will offer some complimentary drinks and taco tastings.
