West Midtown Corner Tavern, which opened in 2010 at 1133 Huff Road NW, is in the process of being sold and shuttered on Sunday, owner Melanie Rabb confirmed in an email to Eater Atlanta Thursday. What Now Atlanta was the first to report rumor of the tavern's possible closure.
Rabb said the West Midtown staff has already moved to Corner Tavern locations on Edgewood Avenue and in Little Five Points. A new concept will move into the space, and closing on the building is expected next week.
Corner Tavern also operates an outpost in East Point. Little Five Points Corner Tavern reopened in March after a nearly two-year hiatus following an electrical fire.
