After a soft opening last week, Riccardo Ullio's latest restaurant, Novo Cucina, officially began service on Wednesday. Ullio's fourth venturem which was originally scheduled to open last spring, is located in Dunwoody Village at 5592 Chamblee Dunwoody Road. Tomorrow's News Today first reported the opening date.
Novo's menu is a selection of "greatest hits" of the pizzas, salads, charcuterie, and appetizers from Fritti, along with pasta and risotto dishes from Sotto Sotto, per the restaurant's PR. For dessert, 18 gelato and sorbet flavors are spun daily. The wine list is mostly Italian, but for the first time at one of his restaurants, Ullio has included a few California varietals as well.
In addition to his three Italian-inspired restaurants, Ullio operates Escorpion, a taqueria and tequila bar, in Midtown. Novo Cucina is currently open Tuesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner. Take a look at the opening menu below.
