Nancy's Pizza Is Leaving Buckhead for East Point

The Buckhead restaurant will close this weekend.

Iconic Chicago-style pizzeria chain Nancy's Pizza is relocating its Buckhead outpost to East Point's Camp Creek Marketplace. Nancy's will close in Buckhead this Sunday, and the plan is to open in its new home this summer, according to an announcement recently posted on Facebook.

Nancy's has been in business in Buckhead at 3167 Peachtree Road for a decade, and last year Eater Atlanta readers listed it as one of the city's best options for pizza, despite its chain status. The pizzeria is based out of Chicago, and it's one of Atlanta's few options for authentic deep-dish pizza. The forthcoming location, located at 3480 Camp Creek Parkway, will be larger and more upscale, owner Greg Cole said in the announcement.

For fans of the pizzeria in Buckhead who don't want to make the trek to southern Fulton County, Nancy's Pizza continues to operate its Midtown location.
