From Patrick Dunn and Brian Hogan, formerly of Leon's Full Service and Shorty's Pizza, respectively, Pea Ridge Kitchen & Bar is nearing its opening in Decatur. The restaurant will take up residence in the former Country Cafe space at 2607 Lawrenceville Highway, and plans are to begin service on May 13.
The restaurant's menu is broken down into appetizers, soups and salads, sandwiches, mains, sides, and desserts. Plus, there's a kid menu, making Pea Ridge a family friendly option. Seasonal main courses will rotate weekly, and the rest of the menu features straightforward fare like a chicken salad sandwich, grilled-to-order burger, wedge salad, and simple vegetable sides.
The restaurant's hours will be Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pea Ridge will offer a sneak peek this Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. at the third anniversary party for the Atlanta Musicians Exchange.
