Todd Richards, chef and partner at The Shed at Glenwood and The Pig & The Pearl, is leaving the restaurants to take over as executive chef at Downtown's White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails. Richards announced the news on his personal blog.
I never imagined leaving The Pig / The Shed; however I dreamed about returning to finer dining. There's always a thin line between imagination & dreams.
Dreams do come true...
In the blog post, Richards said he will take four to six weeks to rewrite White Oak's menu and familiarize himself with the restaurant. Richards took over the kitchen at The Shed in 2012, and he opened The Pig & The Pearl in Atlantic Station last July.
Richards replaces former White Oak chef Timothy Magee, who is now at Community Smith in Midtown.
