Watch Hugh Acheson Cook Chicken Thighs and Barley Risotto on 'Today'

The local chef and restaurateur stepped in front of the bright lights and cameras over the weekend.

Hugh Acheson, chef and restaurateur behind Five & Ten and The National in Athens, The Florence in Savannah, and Atlanta's Empire State South, is no stranger to being on camera. Acheson has served as a judge on Top Chef and has made several live TV appearances over the years. Over the weekend, he joined Carson Daily on The Today Show for a cooking demonstration, preparing roasted chicken thighs with barley-zucchini risotto. Afraid of taking on risotto? Acheson says you shouldn't be: "It's not rocket science; it's stirring once in a while. It's not too hard."
