Summer Menu at Twain's; Woodruff's Food Truck Fridays

DECATUR — Twain's Brewpub & Billiards has launched a summer menu to highlight the season's produce. Chef Savannah Haseler created the new list of offerings, which includes dishes such as a cornbread board with chicken liver pate, pickled green tomato relish, pimento cheese, and sorghum butter; pimento-bacon deviled eggs; and sweet tea-brined chicken and cheddar-herb waffle. MIDTOWN — Food Truck Fridays at Woodruff Arts Center have returned. Each Friday through August from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at least six trucks will park on Callaway Plaza at Peachtree and 15th Street. Among the expected participants, per the Atlanta Business Chronicle, are Hail Caesar, On Tapa the World, The Fry Guy, Yumbii, Genki, Seven Seas Mediterranean, Five Finger Philly, Pressed for Time, Spiedie Zone, Chay J's, and SnoBayou. MIDTOWN — Hi-Five Diner and Terrapin Beer Company will team up for a "Breakfast For (Beer) Dinner," on Wednesday, June 24. A four-course breakfast-focused dinner, with beer pairings, will begin at 7 p.m. Pairings include Maggie's Blackberry Cobbler Imperial Farmhouse Ale and French Toasted Wake-n-Bake Coffee Oatmeal Imperial Stout.
