Gunshow chef/owner Kevin Gillespie is making his way back to the small screen. The Top Chef alum will host an episode of CNN International's Culinary Journeys next month, taking viewers on a trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina. During the show, Gillespie will "explore the asado method of grilling meat" and share "an intimate lunch with world-renowned Argentine chef Francis Mallmann," according to a release.
Gillespie's 30-minute episode of Culinary Journey will air a few times early next month: July 3 at 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., July 4 at 3:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., and July 7 at 5:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m.
The CNN show isn't Gillespie's biggest project for July. Revival, his upscale Southern eatery, is on track to open later in the month in Decatur's former Harbour House Pub space.
