Eat Me Speak Me in Atlanta, Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Welcome back to Eater Scenes, in which Eater photographers visit local establishments to capture them at a certain, specific point in time. Today, in honor of Cheap Eats Week, Jarrett Stieber's Eat Me Speak Me.

Yes, there are cheaper meals than one you might have at Eat Me Speak Me, Jarrett Stieber's weekly pop-up that takes over Gato Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Dining with Stieber is pricier than stopping by a hot dog stand, but the thing is, it's not much pricier, and considering the level of the cuisine, it might be the best deal in town.

Stieber's menu is typically comprised nine dishes that all cost less than $10. They can be ordered a la carte, but the right move is ordering one of Eat Me Speak Me's two tasting menus, eloquently titled "I'm pretty hungry tbh" and "Just fuck me up fam." The latter gets you everything on the menu. The quality of the ingredients — they're picked from local farmers markets each week — along with Stieber's cooking and presentation make this one of Atlanta's better tasting menus. At $40 for nine courses, combined with the lower price of BYOB service, it comes at a fraction of the cost of its competitors.

Here now, a special Cheap Eats Week look at Eat Me Speak Me.
