Doggy Dogg's Brick-and-Mortar Opens Saturday

1) DECATUR — The brick-and-mortar location for Doggy Dogg will open Saturday night at 5 p.m., according to UrbanDaddy. The new location won't offer dine-in service, but instead will set up as a take-out and late-night option. Although, a few outdoor patios will be available for anyone who wants to dine on premises. Lunch and dinner will be available Tuesday through Saturday, and the late-night window will be open until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. Doggy Dogg uses locally sourced ingredients for toppings and sausages from The Spotted Trotter. 310 East Howard Avenue, Decatur.

2) KIRKWOOD — Dulce Vegan Bakery & Cafe, which closed in April for renovations, is working on a comeback, reports What Now Atlanta. The bakery doesn't have a targeted reopening date yet, but reportedly hopes to be back in business by mid-summer. Dulce is streamlining the kitchen and adding counter and window seating, among other things. 1994 Hosea L Williams Drive NE.

3) SOUTHWESTERN — Get Dinner To Go, a new restaurant from photographer Drexel Mitchell, is on track to open in late summer, per Creative Loafing. The eatery, specializing in take-out, will offer comfort food such as baked ziti, roasted chicken and potatoes, and smoked baby back ribs. The restaurant plans to serve lunch seven days a week and dinner Monday through Saturday. 3695 Cascade Road.
