Jennifer Zyman Awards Three Stars to Wrecking Bar Brewpub

It's your weekly roundup of Atlanta restaurant reviews.

Creative Loafing's Jennifer Zyman reviews Wrecking Bar Brewpubawarding the Inman Park restaurant a "very good" rating of three out of five stars. Zyman says the quality of the food and the prices combine to hit a sweet spot:

Even with small service and seasoning issues, Wrecking Bar has become an ace up my sleeve. It's not perfect, but the prices — nothing on the menu costs more than $26 — make Wrecking Bar one of the most affordable, chef-driven, farm-to-table restaurants in town. Koval is an example of the best kind of local chef, one who is deeply invested in the surrounding food community. And, if the consistent crowds are any indication, the community is just as into him.

THE ELSEWHERE AND THE BLOGS: Atlanta Restaurant Blog likes the edgier menu at Saltwood in the Loews Hotel. Fried Chicken Lips doesn't plan on making the trek back to Mizumi Ramen. Burgers, Barbecue & Everything Else finds excellent brisket and rib tips at Bludso's BBQ.
