— The owner of Decatur's Dos Madres Cantina was attacked and robbed when she was locking up the restaurant last week. She told WSB-TV she was pushed down from behind and hit in the head while lying face down, and the attacker stole her purse. Police do not have a suspect in custody and say the assailant was wearing all black and a black mask to conceal his face. An employee at another Decatur establishment told WSB-TV he believes the man is targeting people closing up their businesses.

— The buildout for City Winery, the upscale wine bar/restaurant/music venue coming to Ponce City Market, won't be cheap. Owner Michael Dorf, who operates City Winery locations in New York, Chicago, Napa Valley, and Nashville, told What Now Atlanta the venture will take up a 26,000-square-foot space built "under" and "around" Dancing Goats Coffee Bar, and it's estimated to cost at least $2.9 million.

— Westside's Second Self Beer Company is adding more tour and tasting hours and has released a new brew. New brewery hours are Thursday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and Monday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Second Self has released XMAS in July, a Belgian strong beer with winter spices, to stores around Georgia, and it will be available at the brewery in August.

— Star Bar in Little Five Points is expanding hours and opening a little earlier. The bar now opens at 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 5 p.m. on Friday, and service runs until 3 a.m. nightly.
