Tipple + Rose Tea Parlor + Apothecary, one of three forthcoming ventures from the restaurant group behind Urban Cannibals, will soft open this Friday at 8 a.m. Tipple + Rose announced the news on Facebook.
Taking up space at 806 North Highland Avenue in Virginia-Highland, next door to Surin of Thailand, Tipple + Rose will offer 100 kinds of brewed teas, bulk teas and spices, and "caffeinated coffee alternatives." Complimenting the beverages, look for morning pastries, desserts, and lighter fare. High Tea service, tastings, and monthly tea pourings, will be available, as well.
In addition to Tipple + Rose, We Serve People Restaurant Group is working on Madre + Mason, a new restaurant in Midtown, and a new home in the same neighborhood for bodega/deli/bakery Urban Cannibals. The original East Atlanta Village location for Urban Cannibals closed in May.
