The shopping center that houses Smith's is up for sale, and the complex's potential new owners "have demanded that club's owner, Nolen-Reeves Music, vacate the premises after demanding more rent and increased insurance coverage for the space." Despite the grim report, a tipster with knowledge of the deal tells Eater Atlanta, "We suspect Smith's, being the institution that it is, will stay, under a new lease with a new property owner."
— Sublime Dounuts, the popular local shop that has seen its products used at Shake Shack and the forthcoming Spiller Park Coffee, is adding a second outpost in North Druid Hills. The new shop will take up space at 2566 Briarcliff Road NE, and it's expected to open in November.
— Tin Lizzy's Cantina, the constantly expanding local Tex-Mex chain, has opened its newest location Downtown. The newest Tin Lizzy's can be found at 229 Peachtree Street NE, Suite C-05, across the street from Hsu's and next door to Benihana.
