— Smith's Olde Bar appears to be in danger of losing its home on Monroe Drive. The shopping center that houses Smith's is up for sale, and the complex's potential new owners "have demanded that club's owner, Nolen-Reeves Music, vacate the premises after demanding more rent and increased insurance coverage for the space." Despite the grim report, a tipster with knowledge of the deal tells Eater Atlanta, "We suspect Smith's, being the institution that it is, will stay, under a new lease with a new property owner."
— Sublime Dounuts, the popular local shop that has seen its products used at Shake Shack and the forthcoming Spiller Park Coffee, is adding a second outpost in North Druid Hills. The new shop will take up space at 2566 Briarcliff Road NE, and it's expected to open in November.
— Tin Lizzy's Cantina, the constantly expanding local Tex-Mex chain, has opened its newest location Downtown. The newest Tin Lizzy's can be found at 229 Peachtree Street NE, Suite C-05, across the street from Hsu's and next door to Benihana.
