In an effort to keep things fresh, Brookhaven's Kaleidoscope Bistro & Pub is planning a major revamp. The restaurant announced it will be closed next Monday through Friday while it expands into an adjacent 1,200-square-foot space and installs a wood-burning pizza oven. It will reopen on Saturday.
"Since the name Kaleidoscope comes from the idea of a constantly changing pattern, it is important to us to not only let more light into our dining space by expanding the building but to also offer our guests a wider spectrum of food and beverage options," co-owner and executive chef Joey Riley said in a prepared statement.
The revamped restaurant will include an area for live music and more space at the bar. A new selection of pizzas will be available during dinner, and six additional beers will pour from the taps. Kaleidoscope has partnered with Red Brick Brewing Company on a beer that can be found exclusively at the restaurant.
