The accident happened Wednesday morning.

Hot Dog Factory, open for five years in Smyrna and one of metro Atlanta's essential restaurants for meat in tube form, is closed after a car crashed through its front door Wednesday morning, per WSB-TV. The cause of the accident hasn't been released, though presumably someone just couldn't wait to get their hot dog fix.

The restaurant announced on Facebook that it hopes to open later this week, and no one was hurt in the incident: "Everybody is fine, thank God. We had just opened so no customers were here. Hopefully we will be open by Saturday."

Hot Dog Factory opened in March 2010. The restaurant specializes in bacon-wrapped dogs and hamburgers.
