Little Trouble, the Westside Provisions District bar from the folks behind Paper Plane and Victory Sandwich Bar, is just about ready to go. After a couple of soft opening nights, service will officially begin Thursday at 5 p.m., co-owner Caleb Wheelus confirmed in a text message to Eater Atlanta Wednesday.

Paper Plane recently has been previewing the Little Trouble cocktail and snack menus, offering assorted varieties of meat on a stick, noodles, and steamed buns. The bar is taking up residence in the space below Ford Fry's Marcel, and it brings together the casualness of Victory and the sophistication of Paper Plane. Paul Calvert, who is no longer with Victory Brands and is working on a Krog Street Market project, previously said of Little Trouble, "There's nothing like that over there. There's dinner, college bars, dive bars, but where's the place for people who want to stay out and get a nice drink?"

Melissa Allen of Paper Plane is leading the kitchen, and Ari Form and Drew Gillespie, previously of Bocado and Empire State South, respectively, are in charge of the bar. Little Trouble will open Monday through Saturday at 5 p.m. Closing hours are still being determined, but Wheelus said the bar definitely will keep pouring until 2:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
