Tavernpointe, the new American concept from Billy Streck and Drew Van Leuvan, is now open in Midtown's former LPC space. The restaurant offers "a distinctive take on classic dishes," according to an official announcement, and the design features steel, repurposed Georgia pine, and reclaimed brick from a South Carolina textile mill.

Van Leuvan's menu includes dishes such as Peruvian-style smoked chicken, grilled Waygu skirt steak with fries, and broiled lobster scampi. At the bar, helmed by beverage director Madison Burch, look for 13 beer taps, 50 to 60 wines, and a cocktail list that includes ingredients such as bell peppers, vinegar, and Earl Grey tea.

Tavernpointe is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday from noon to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Take a look at the dinner, lunch, and brunch menus below.
