Sister Louisa's Church Suffers Fire Damage, Temporarily Shutters

Sister Louisa's Church of the Living Room and Ping Pong Emporium, one of Atlanta's hottest bars and certainly the city's weirdest, has been forced to shut its doors due to a fire Wednesday night. The blaze apparently started on the roof and did cause some damage.

Fortunately, no one was hurt. It's too early to tell when owner Grant Henry (aka Sister Louisa) might be able to reopen, but he's facing the situation with his typical fearlessness.

In the meantime, thirsty parishioners who can't get enough Church may want to consider visiting the bar's Athens outpost.
