Ford Fry's much-buzzed-about little sister to The Optimist finally has a name. The seafood eatery is called Beetlecat, reports Atlanta Magazine, and it's on track to open in November in the Inman Quarter mixed-use development. Andrew Isabella, who previously helmed the kitchen at No. 246, Fry's Decatur restaurant, is in as executive chef.
Before the tireless restaurateur opens Beetlecat, he'll launch another new restaurant at the Four Seasons hotel in Midtown. Bar Margot, a collaboration with Four Seasons chef Robert Gerstenecker, will be "a funky community lounge with uncomplicated, thoughtful food, small-batch spirits, and a rockin' vinyl collection," according to Fry. It's on track to begin service September 28.
