Huge is a "digital agency" that offers marketing services to Fortune 100 countries, with offices in locales such as Brooklyn, Los Angeles, San Francisco, London, and Rio de Janeiro. Now the Atlanta office is moving beyond brand strategies taking a shot at the restaurant industry. Huge Cafe opened last week, writes Ad Week, serving locally roasted Brash Coffee and a small menu of Japanese bites.
Among the local partners in Huge Cafe is Karl Injex, the man behind Edgewood Avenue's The Sound Table. "One of the guiding principles with the food and beverage program is very Japanese," Injex told Ad Week. "There's a lot of looking for the simplest and most direct solution, but also being organic, kind of the wabi-sabi idea, not trying to manipulate things." Wabi-sabi is the Japanese idea of accepting imperfections in beauty. Among the cafe's dishes is the #1 Bagel Sandwich, featuring mezcal-cured salmon, wasabi cream cheese, radish, chive, and radish sprouts on an everything bagel. Huge Cafe is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
