Looking for dinner and a show all in one sitting? Venkman's, now open at 740 Ralph McGill Boulevard in Old Fourth Ward, might be the place for you. Nick Melvin, previously of Rosebud, Parish, and Empire State South, is in charge of the kitchen, and Bradford Tolleson, who last ran the bar at Restaurant Eugene, is pouring the drinks. Helping to bring in the tunes are partners Nicholas Niespodziani and Peter Olson of '70s cover band Yacht Rock Revue. It all adds up to a cabaret experience that rocks a little harder. If you haven't had a chance to stop by, get an idea of what to expect via the above gallery.
