Jia, the long-anticipated Sichuan restaurant from Tasty China's Dahe Yang and executive chef Jiguo Jiang, is ready to begin service. Located in Ponce City Market's Central Food Hall, it officially opened to the public Friday at 5 p.m. Regular daily hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and the restaurant will serve lunch specials from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Jia is the seventh venture to officially open in the Central Food Hall, following Farm to Ladle, H&F Burger, Hop's Chicken, Simply Seoul Kitchen, Honeysuckle Gelato, and Dub's Fish Camp. Spiller Park Coffee isn't in its permanent home yet, but the shop from Hugh Acheson and Dale Donchey is hosting a regular pop-up inside the market.
