Star Provisions, the central figure in Anne Quatrano and Clifford Harrison's restaurant empire, is expanding with all-day breakfast service. Quatrano announced the news Monday, and Star Provisions now opens two hours earlier at 8 a.m. daily. Among the dishes available as part of the new service:
- Bacon, fried egg, and cheddar sandwich on black pepper roll
- Broccoli, goat cheese, caper frittata
- Cauliflower, gruyere, onion, and rosemary savory tart
- Carraway bagel, smoked salmon, dill cream cheese, cucumbers, tomato, red onion
- Sausage biscuit, strawberry jam
- Breakfast snack box: hard-cooked egg, fruit, dried fruit, nuts, crackers
- Butter croissants
- Chocolate croissants
- Herb omelette
To make room for an influx of breakfast eaters, the restaurant has doubled indoor capacity with 48 seats. The counter at Star Provisions now closes earlier at 6 p.m., and the meat and cheese departments remain open until 7 p.m. The continues its normal hours, remaining open until midnight. Showing her impeccable taste, Quatrano closed her announcement with a quote from Ron Swanson of Parks and Recreation fame:
"There has never been a sadness that can't be cured by breakfast food."
