Scope the Menu for The Mercury, Now Open at Ponce City Market

There's plenty to like for Atlanta's carnivores.

Jonathan Phillips/Eater Atlanta

The latest restaurant from The Pinewood's Mike Blydenstein, Brooks Cloud, and Julian Goglia begins service today at 5 p.m. The Mercury offers a distinct mid-century modern vibe, which is centered around cocktails from Goglia and Blydenstein's menu of steaks and chops.

The offerings from Revere Meat Co. include prime rib, a bit of a rarity in Atlanta's big steakhouses, available in three cuts named after the restaurant's partners. Prices for beef are relatively reasonable compared to major players in town — the $135 porterhouse sticks out, but it's cheaper per ounce than some. Non-beefy dinner entrees focus on seafood, and soups and salads look back in time with French onion, an iceberg wedge, and tableside Caesar.

The Mercury, located on the second floor of Ponce City Market's Central Food Hall, is initially open for dinner only, and lunch service should begin next week. Take a look at the complete menu below.
