Look Inside The Family Dog, Now Open Under New Ownership

After a hiatus of more than three months, The Family Dog is back in business in Morningside. Angry chef Ron Eyester's old bar and restaurant is under new ownership and reopens today at 4 p.m., with a revamped interior and more seating.

Eyester closed The Family Dog in October, and in December he sold it to South Capital Partners. When announcing the transaction, an SCP spokesperson said the ownership group would keep the name because "the neighborhood bar has been a Morningside staple for years."
