Pallookaville Fine Foods, Jim Stacy's Avondale Estates corn dog emporium, is temporarily closing its doors through the end of February. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution notes an announcement posted on Pallookaville's Facebook page, which cites anticipated slow business and "pressing mechanical repairs."

"Jim Stacy and Pallookaville look forward to expanding the vision in 2016 — including the Little 5 Points location, new events, and streamlining our service and operations. Look for many new menu items!" reads the announcement.

Stacy has been planning Pallookaville Junior, a take-out-only operation, for Little Five Points since last February, and there's been talk of more new concepts from the bearded restaurateur and TV personality. Stacy announced in December he's planning to sell his Avondale Estates restaurant, saying "we have so many other projects in the works, it wouldn't be fair to our customers and the quality of our food and service to do otherwise." Stacy assured fans he plans to find a buyer who understands the concept, and the restaurant will remain open.

An official reopening date hasn't been revealed. See the full announcement below.
