Food Network personality/cookbook author/culinary mad scientist Alton Brown is out on the road in support of his latest work, EveryDayCook. The Marietta resident’s book tour is coming to Ponce City Market on Tuesday, October 18, but for anyone who can’t make it, Brown has added another local date to his schedule. He’ll make an appearance at Cover Books in Westside on Wednesday, October 19.

Tickets for the event are $36 and available online. Brown says space is limited, so fans should act fast. Each ticket comes with a copy of EveryDayCook, and Brown will discuss his latest work and sign copies from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Describing his first cookbook in five years, Brown says, "There's still plenty of science and hopefully some humor here (my agent says that's my 'wheelhouse') but unlike my other books, a lot of attention went into the photos, which were actually taken with my iPhone (take that, Instagram) and are suitable for framing."
