Suzy Siu’s Baos offered a sneak preview over the weekend, and now the Krog Street Market stall is officially open to the public. Located toward the south end of the market, adjacent to Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams and across from Grand Champion BBQ, the stall is serving Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Owners Michael Lo and chef George Yu, the men behind Taiyo Ramen (formerly Makan) in Decatur, have come up with a simple menu of six steamed buns and five side dishes. Diners can order a la carte or choose from four combo options.
Now that Suzy Siu’s is open, Lo and Yu can shift greater focus on their next venture: Ramen Station at the forthcoming Larkin on Memorial development.
