Some of Atlanta’s Best Bartenders Want to Pour Your Holiday Cheer This Season

Miracle on Monroe

Official

A New York holiday cocktail tradition is coming to town. The Big Apple’s annual Miracle on 9th pop-up has expanded to 15 cities across the country, including Atlanta. Miracle on Monroe is taking over the space at 931 Monroe Dr. NE, Suite C-106, and some notable names from this city’s bartending community will make appearances behind the stick.

The pop-up bar pays tribute to Christmas and Hanukkah decor of the 1950s and ‘60s, and seasonal beverages, movies, and tunes are in constant rotation. Each Thursday until Christmas, guest bartenders will take over at 8 p.m. to serve drinks while their favorite holiday soundtracks play through the speakers.

  • December 1: Navarro Carr (The Soundtable) and T. Fable Jeon (Miso Izakaya, Le Fat, Ton Ton).
  • December 8: Greg Best (Ticonderoga Club) and Andy Minchow (Ration & Dram).
  • December 15: Kellie Thorne (Empire State South), Trip Sandifer (The Painted Pin), Taylor Blackgrave (The Lawrence), and Tyler Blackgrave (Bon Ton Boil House).
  • December 22: Miles Macquarrie (Kimball House) and Shanna Mayo (The Luminary).

Miracle on Monroe is open Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6 p.m. to midnight and Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. The wintry drinks run dry at the end of service on Christmas Eve.
