After opening for dinner earlier this week, Poor Hendrix has acquired its liquor license and is ready to begin pouring. Beverage service at the East Lake restaurant, located in the burgeoning Hosea + 2nd development, begins tomorrow.
The cocktail menu is a best-of list of standards such as the negroni, old fashioned, and French 75, and several local beers are available on tap and in bottles and cans. Though, for anyone who may have grown tired of the craft movement, three “schwill-icious” brews — Miller High Life, Miller LIte, and Tecate — are available for $3 a pint. The wine list isn’t too expansive, but it features varietals from all over the world by the bottle and glass.
Poor Hendrix serves dinner from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on weekends. Bar service runs from 4 p.m. to midnight on weekdays and 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. on weekends. Take a look at the beverage menus below.
