PONCEY-HIGHLAND — After a trial run over the weekend, Rize Artisan Pizza opens today at 675 North Highland Ave. NE, #1000. The fast-casual pizzeria is the first restaurant to debut at the 675 N. Highland mixed-use development. Hours are Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
In addition to the pizzas, Rize serves pasta, salads, sandwiches, and flat breads, and gelato and sorbet are available for dessert. Look for craft beer, wine, and sangria at the bar.
MIDTOWN — Taking over the former home of Cosmo Lava Lounge, Foxtrot Liquor Bar is now open at 45 13th St. NE, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Co-owner Jim Sullivan tells the AJC Foxtrot is "the nighttime version of a cool, hip coffee shop." Cocktails, including two on tap, are complemented by a menu of small plates such as pimento cheese fritters, poutine, and barbecue duck confit egg rolls. The bar is open Monday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to midnight, Thursday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., Friday from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m., and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.
MARIETTA — Tin Lizzy’s Cantina has opened its 13th outpost at The Avenue East Cobb development, settling in at 4475 Roswell Rd., Suite 1510. The new restaurant features Tin Lizzy’s Tex-Mex staples, and thanks to a set of double garage doors, the patio opens up to the indoor bar. Hours are Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight.
