Ba Bellies, From the Nam Phuong Team, Is on Track to Open This Spring

The Peachtree Corners restaurant will combine Southern and Asian fare.

Nam Phuong owners David and Tina Nguyen are planning to open their next restaurant, Ba Bellies, this spring in Peachtree Corners. The duo is partnering with chef Mike Yang, previously of New York City's Per Se, Craft, and L'atelier, to serve Southern-Asian fusion and an extensive craft beer list.

Ba Bellies will take over the former Firenze space at 6025 Peachtree Parkway, boasting a "a rustic and industrial design feel," according to an announcement from the team. Seating for 150 will be available inside, with room for an additional 60 on the patio.

"We've been brainstorming a new concept for a long time when our current space fell into our laps," David Nguyen said in a prepared statement. "It's been one of the hardest challenges in our lives to open the restaurant. It's been a daunting task to rehab the current restaurant space into what we envisioned."

The menu is still being finalized, but some dishes to expect include shaking beef banh mi, crispy Brussels sprouts with puffed rice, Tonkotsu ramen, and bacon fried rice.

When it opens, Ba Bellies will serve lunch Tuesday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., dinner Tuesday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., and brunch Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
