Marrakesh comes from Udi Hershkovitz (Fuego Mundo) and Dikla Birnbaum (Pita Grille). The market serves seasoned meat kebabs and housemade hummus, in addition to tahini, a variety of spices, cheeses, and pita breads made daily. Hershkovitz previously told Atlanta Magazine the recipes come from Birnbaum, whose family hails from Morocco.
"The food is based on family recipes handed down for generations from North Africa and the Middle East," Hershkovitz said last fall. The Marrakesh team is following the philosophy "of fresh and locally sourced ingredients throughout."
