Having already lined up one preview for her forthcoming ramen shop, Mihoko Obunai has another Nexto pop-up dinner in the works. Obunai will take over Midtown's The Spence on Wednesday, March 23, when the chef will serve ramen and small plates from 6 p.m. until the food runs out.
For those who can't make it to Obunai's dinner at The Spence, she's also planning a pop-up on Monday, April 11, at Parish in Inman Park. The chef is partnering with Concentrics Restaurants to open Nexto, which explains why she's popping up at the hospitality group's eateries.
Obunai will open Nexto at 822 Ralph McGill Blvd. NE in Old Fourth Ward. Details on the restaurant have been scarce, and the official timeline calls for a vague spring launch.
