After launching Thumbs Up BBQ & Burgers late last year, and then renaming it Burnt Edge BBQ & Burgers, the Thumbs Up Diner team has retooled the venture. Thumbs Up Gourmet Express is in business at 581 Edgewood Avenue, offering a variety of goods from the local diner chain.
A look at the market's website shows online ordering is available for prepared goods such as smoked turkey breast and chicken wings, plus whole spiral glazed ham for Easter. Packaged products include Thumbs Up coffee, "Magic Seasoning," and a few items from Zen Tea. There's apparel too, for any Thumbs Up Diner fans in need of a hat, t-shirt, or apron.
In addition to the regular take-away goods, the brick-and-mortar market offers some specials based around Thumbs Up's variety of smoked meats. Thumbs Up Gourmet Express is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eater Atlanta has reached out for more information.
