East of Chicago Pizza, a Lima, Ohio-based chain with more than 80 locations across the Midwest and South, is coming to Georgia, according to a Wednesday announcement. East of Chicago will move into a Pencil Factory Lofts space at 349 Decatur St. SE in Sweet Auburn, where it will serve a variety of pizza, pasta, subs, wings, burgers, and bread sticks.

As one might imagine, the restaurant will specialize in Chicago-style deep dish pizza, to go along with a few other crust variations. In addition to diners, it appears East of Chicago will try to attract Atlantans looking for a night on the town with a full bar and live entertainment.

The chain was founded in 1991, and current locations span Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, Michigan, and South Carolina. East of Chicago expects to make its Atlanta debut sometime in April.

Pencil Factory Lofts is the same mixed-use development that houses local improv favorite The Village Theatre.
