With Armour Yards set to become a new dining destination on Ottley Drive, one of Atlanta's major players is signing on at the development. Fox Brox. Bar-B-Q will open what the team is calling a "barbecue kiosk," according to a Thursday announcement. The standalone, walk-up space will serve a pared down menu of "greatest hits and fan favorites."

"When we signed our lease at 134 Ottley for our catering and commissary production facility, we knew this neighborhood was going to be one to watch," co-owner and pitmaster Jonathan Fox said in a prepared statement. "The Armour Yards project is going to bring in a lot of commerce and excitement to the area. This kiosk is an ideal opportunity for us to invest in our new community and to serve up some of our famous barbecue to our new neighbors."
The Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q kiosk is currently on track to open at Armour Yards in early June. When service begins, it will be open for lunch Monday through Friday and "a few nights a week for dinner." Specific hours and menu details have not yet been finalized.
Armour Yards is being developed in the same area that houses SweetWater Brewing Company, at the intersection of Brookwood Hills, Buckhead, and Piedmont Heights. When the dust settles, a total of seven buildings will house 275,000 square feet of loft office space, "original concept restaurants," collaborative meeting areas, fitness, and outdoor gathering spaces.
In addition to the Armour Yards expansion, Fox Bros. is looking to open a second full-service restaurant in Westside, and it will be part of the development surrounding SunTrust Park, future home of the Atlanta Braves.
