Morningside Kitchen Is Open in the Former Rosebud Space

Tom Murphy's latest restaurant is now open in Morningside, per an email blast. The restaurateur behind Murphy's and Paces & Vine has taken over the former Rosebud space to launch Morningside Kitchen, a dinner and brunch destination for "neighborhood comfort food," which translates to standard American fare. Chef de cuisine Bhavesh Patel is running day-to-day operations in the kitchen, and beverage director Dan Givens is in charge of the bar program.

Morningside Kitchen is currently open for dinner only, Monday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Brunch service will be added soon, and hours are planned for Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations are available by phone at (404) 347-9747 or via OpenTable.
