Ticonderoga Club is launching brunch service this weekend, and now we have a first look at the menu. The Krog Street Market restaurant will open up Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Chef David Bies's offerings include a cobb salad, bacon-egg-and-cheese sandwich, two-egg breakfast plate, and fish sandwich. The highlights appear to be hashbrowns — which, if the menu art is any indication, are inspired by Waffle House — and "Pearl's Flitters." The latter dish comes with fried dough, refried red beans, eggs, white butter, and hot sauce.
At the bar, Greg Best and Paul Calvert will pour a new selection of morning cocktails, and the Ticonderoga Cup is on the list as well. A small selection of beer and wine will be available, and for anyone who's fighting a particularly bad hangover — or looking to get an early start on the next one — shots of Fernet, Irish whiskey, and Amer should do the trick.
