Smyrna-based Rev Coffee Roasters, a favorite among Atlanta's caffeine enthusiasts, is adding another shop south of town. Rev's second location is soft opening today until 7 p.m. at 3719 Main St. in College Park. Rev co-owner Jenn Bimmerle tells Eater Atlanta regular hours will begin this Monday, April 4.
Keeping its tradition of applying locally inspired names to its coffees, Rev is debuting its College Park Blend to mark the occasion. The multi-origin beans provide a "heavy, rich, and balanced" flavor profile, according to a Facebook announcement.
Rev first launched in Smyrna in 2010. Since then, the team has attempted to provide a "heavily caffeinated and perfectionist mentality toward coffee," because that's "in service to every bar in life that could be raised just a little bit higher." In addition to coffee beverages, the Smyrna shop offers smoothies and cider, plus a selection of breakfast and lunch options, prepared foods, and a variety of baked goods.
Once the shop officially opens next week, hours will be Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
